Fahad Ahmad Siddiqi is an Advocate Supreme Court of Pakistan and the Principal and Lead Counsel of Child Custody Law Services in Pakistan. He commenced legal practice in 2002 after enrolment as an Advocate of the subordinate Courts with the Punjab Bar Council and was enrolled as an Advocate of the Lahore High Court in April 2004. Born and raised in Lahore, he received his education at Aitchison College Lahore, Government College Lahore and University Law College, University of the Punjab. Over more than two decades of practice, his professional work has developed a particular focus on family jurisdiction, child custody, guardianship, visitation, shared parenting and constitutional litigation concerning children and family relationships.
A significant part of his professional work has been devoted to advocating for meaningful and practically workable parent-child relationships following separation. His litigation and legal research have addressed questions concerning interim and at-home visitation, overnight and extended access, shared parenting, the welfare of the minor, the child’s relationship with both parents and the wider family, and the role of courts in developing child-sensitive and workable parenting arrangements. His work has also extended to complex family and constitutional matters, including recovery of minors, international custody, relocation, wrongful removal and retention, appeals, revisions and proceedings before the superior courts.
His professional contribution extends beyond individual litigation. He has authored numerous articles on child custody and family justice in Pakistan, with his writings appearing in legal and professional publications and platforms. One of his articles, “Meeting Their Parents: A Right Always Ignored for Divorce-Affected Parents,” was selected for inclusion in the Routledge International Handbook of Shared Parenting and Best Interest of the Child (2021), placing a Pakistani perspective within a wider international discussion on shared parenting and family law.
He has also authored three books addressing important aspects of Pakistani family law and shared parenting: Guardian Laws and Non-Custodial Fathers, Shared Parenting & Pleadings, and Shared Parenting: The Pakistani Perspective. His scholarship examines Pakistani legislation, judicial precedent, Islamic jurisprudence, constitutional principles and comparative family-law developments, with particular attention to the practical realities faced by children and parents after separation.
Alongside his legal practice and scholarship, Fahad Ahmad Siddiqi has pursued family-law reform and professional education. His work has included proposals concerning the structural strengthening of Family and Guardian Courts, meaningful visitation and home and overnight access, shared parenting, child-sensitive adjudication and the development of more consistent approaches to family justice. He has also contributed to professional and academic discussions concerning children’s rights, parental relationships, international family law and the development of family jurisprudence in Pakistan.
His professional approach is founded upon the principle that a custody dispute should not be treated merely as a contest between parents. The central question is the welfare of the child and how the legal system can protect the child’s interests while, where circumstances permit, preserving meaningful relationships with both parents. SHAHzad farooq

Shahzad Farooq joined the firm in 2018 and presently serves as Senior Associate, overseeing the professional and administrative affairs of the Lahore Office (Head Office) of Child Custody Law Services in Pakistan. With substantial experience in litigation and advisory work, he represents and assists clients before various judicial, quasi-judicial and statutory forums and plays an important role in the firm’s day-to-day professional and case-management functions.
His practice encompasses the drafting, institution and prosecution of constitutional and other petitions, civil suits, appeals and a broad range of contentious proceedings. He has developed particular proficiency in family and matrimonial litigation, including disputes between spouses and matters concerning the protection, welfare and legal rights of children. His experience includes proceedings before the Child Protection & Welfare Bureau, child adoption and custody-related matters, child labour cases, proceedings under child-marriage laws and inheritance disputes involving minors.

Moazzam Ali

Moazzam Ali is an Advocate of the High Court and has been serving as a Senior Associate with Child Custody Law Services in Pakistan since 2022. As a member of the firm’s professional team, he contributes to the preparation, management and conduct of legal matters, working as part of the firm’s broader litigation structure under the overall direction of the Principal and Lead Counsel.

Khalid Mehmood has been associated with Child Custody Law Services in Pakistan since 2015 and serves as the firm’s Clerk and Office Manager. With more than a decade of continuous service, he plays an important role in the day-to-day functioning and administrative management of the Lahore office.
